On September 13–14, 2025, HSV Neubrandenburg hosted the 3rd Tchoukball Sandsation Cup at Lake Tollensesee. A total of seven teams from Germany and Poland accepted the invitation, creating a thrilling, competitive, and fair tournament weekend.
In perfect weather conditions, the teams – including clubs from Essen, Urbich, Poland, and the hosts from Neubrandenburg – competed with great energy over two days. Saturday featured a round-robin format (“everyone plays everyone”), while Sunday was dedicated to the placement matches in groups 1–4 and 5–7.
A particularly positive highlight was the strong participation of young players, who brought enthusiasm and joy to the games and created some unforgettable moments. The junior teams made a key contribution to the success of the tournament, showing that the Sandsation Cup is not only a sporting event but also an important platform for promoting Tchoukball in Germany.
Beyond the exciting matches, the sense of community within the Tchoukball family took center stage. Fairness, respect, and team spirit defined the entire weekend – true to the values that make Tchoukball so special.
A heartfelt thank-you goes to all participating teams, as well as the many helpers and supporters who made the tournament possible. HSV Neubrandenburg is already looking forward to welcoming everyone back for the 4th Sandsation Cup next year, when it will once again be all about Tchoukball, sun, sand, and community at Lake Tollensesee.
