On Saturday, September 6, 2025, the new season of the German U16 national tchoukball squad began with the first training day. The venue was the sports hall on Johann-Sebastian-Bach-Straße in the south of Erfurt, where the young talents trained intensively from 9:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
Under the guidance of national coach Alexander Jäger and with the support of Gabi Wolter, a varied program was on the agenda: endurance, tactics, offense, and defense shaped the training sessions and provided the players with valuable impulses for their further development.
A shared dinner rounded off the day – not only as a convivial conclusion, but also as an important team-building activity. With an eye on upcoming international tournaments, this laid a strong foundation for the 2025/26 season.
